Statement of Faith

1. The Inspiration of the Bible
   We believe in the plenary, verbal inspiration of the Bible, as the infallible authoritative word of God, which is the supreme and final authority for faith and life. We use the Authorized King James Version.
   We believe
2. The Person of God
   We believe that there is one god, eternally existent in three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. We believe God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, and glorious in His perfection.
   We believe
3. The Person of Jesus Christ
   We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, His deity, and sinless life, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and in His personal, pre-millennial return.
   We believe
4. The Person of the Holy Spirit
   We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person; equal with God the Father, and the Son and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that in His relation to the unbelieving world, He restrains the Evil One until God's purpose is fulfilled—for He convicts of sin, judgment and unrighteousness; that He seals, endures, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies and helps the believer. The Holy Spirit fills the believer, empowering him for soul-winning service. We believe that present day tongues speaking is not a viable gift for this present age.

5. The Fall of Man
   We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin and death. Hence, every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgment.
   We believe
6. The Salvation of Sinners
   We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace, and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
   We believe
7. The Freeness of Salvation
   We believe that the blessings of salvation are made free by the gospel, that nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner but his own inherent depravity and voluntary rejection of the gospel.
   We believe
8. The Security of the Believer
   We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ, as a result, we have assurance.
   We believe
9. The Resurrection
   We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into Heaven and His presence at the right hand of god as our High Priest and Advocate.
   We believe
10. The Second Coming
    We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved are saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
    We believe
11. The Doctrine of the Church
    We believe that the visible church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing new testament principles, believing it's doctrines, observing its ordinances and exercising its autonomy.
